On Wednesday, December 10, the Mega Dimension DLC drops. New Megas. Levels past 100. Lumiose turned inside out.
Why care? Because you’re not just revisiting Kalos—you’re stepping into Hyperspace Lumiose, a distorted twin where power ceilings snap.
What’s new (and nasty):
- Mega Chimecho (Psychic/Steel) — When it Mega Evolves, six mini-chimes appear and keep fluttering even without wind. Its overlapping cries create a crushing sound-wave assault. Height: 3’11” • Weight: 17.6 lbs.
- Mega Baxcalibur (Dragon/Ice) — More ice energy. A heavier back blade built to cleave or smash almost anything. Earn its Mega Stone by advancing in Z-A Battle Club online Ranked Battles. Height: 6’11” • Weight: 694.5 lbs.
And yes—levels exceed 100.
Think Lv. 138 Mega Houndoom. Think Lv. 162 Mega Baxcalibur. Hyperspace levels let certain Pokémon blow past the normal cap.
Your guides into the rupture:
Ansha, a donut chef, and Hoopa. Ansha’s Berries → donuts power your team in hyperspace; Hyperspace Berries pack extra punch for high-level encounters. Feed Hoopa a donut and those spatial distortions? They become portals.
Why this matters:
Because the old progression loop is over. You get new Megas, new caps, and a fresh hunt through a city that’s familiar—and fundamentally altered.
Mega Diancie—available now:
Starting Thursday, November 6, claim Diancite via Mystery Gift in the base game. Then visit the Looker Bureau—Mimi the Espurr will kick off the side mission “Shine Bright like a Gemstone.” Complete it, add Diancie to your team, and Mega Evolve into Mega Diancie in battle.
More Megas incoming:
Additional Mega Evolutions will be revealed on November 19.
